Exploring alcohol and other drug use among migrant communities in Victoria

Past project

In 2019, Burnet Institute received funding from Wyndham City Council to explore alcohol and other drug use among culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Wyndham.

This project will include interviews and focus group discussions with key stakeholders and young people and parents who live, work or hang out in Wyndham and identify as being from a migrant background.

Objective

Results will be used to inform the development of appropriate prevention, harm reduction and treatment responses in the area.
