Samara Griffin

Background

Samara is a PhD student and research assistant with the Justice Health and Surveillance & Evaluation working groups. Her research will look at hepatitis C treatment in the community corrections population working with the Justice Health Group. 

Samara has a background in epidemiology, having worked in the Department of Health in communicable diseases for 2 years prior to starting her PhD.

  • 2020: MSc (Epidemiology), University of Melbourne, Australia
  • 2016: BSc (Pathology and Laboratory Medicine), University of Western Australia, Australia
