Nisaa completed a Master's in Public Health specialising in Biostatistics and Epidemiology and has experience working with large datasets including the household surveys data and the Global Burden of Disease data. Her research interests have primarily focused on drawing on evidence from epidemiological data to effectively shape policy for adolescent's health especially in mental health and non-communicable diseases. She is also interested in transforming data into patterns and correlations through visualisation.
Currently, she is working on disease modelling, primarily in infectious diseases to assist countries prioritise investment in the most cost-effective interventions to maximise the epidemiological outcomes.
